Kentucky

While Kentucky may be famous for hosting one of the world’s most prestigious horse races and making quality baseball bats, it is also home to nearly 350,000 veterans. These men and women have made tremendous sacrifices to protect the right to vote, and Kentuckians can show their respect and appreciation by Voting in Honor of a Veteran each time they head to the polls.

Indeed, their sacrifices from the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Spanish-American War, and every U.S. war since then – young men and women from the Bluegrass State have donned the uniform of our country, set the example of patriotism, and answered the call of service when called upon. Today’s military continues to be represented by proud service members from Kentucky – and they, too, absolutely need your support in honoring them with your vote.

Don’t miss this opportunity to display your strong love and support for veterans through a personalized button provided by the Kentucky Secretary of State’s office and by posting a tribute.

Note: Please remember that you should not include the name of a candidate currently running for office, regardless of his or her veteran’s status (this is an illegal activity known as “electioneering”).
