Mississippi
Are you a Mississippi voter and ready to share with the world your love and dedication to a proud U.S. veteran? You can (and should!) do exactly that – dedicate your vote to someone who served our nation. There have already been 4,440 veterans recognized and honored through this method, and you can too, 100% free of charge.
If you haven’t heard the great news, the Mississippi Secretary of State’s office renewed their commitment to the “Vote In Honor Of A Veteran” program and it happily invites all Mississippi voters to dedicate your vote to a veteran. Tributes are displayed on the Vote in Honor of a Veteran Wall.
To participate, voters may dedicate their vote to a veteran or service member by completing the MS Secretary of State’s online form. Upon submission, participants will receive a small packet of election materials and a Vote in Honor of a Veteran button to show your military/veteran appreciation on Election Day. While voters may make multiple submissions, please note only one election packet will be provided to each voter.
Perhaps you have an ancestor who fought in Vicksburg, or you know someone from the Magnolia State who went to fight overseas. Whoever your military loved one is, why not honor them by submitting the honoree’s name, branch of service, and years of service when Election Day arrives?
