Ohio
Do you know, love, respect or want to honor someone who served our nation in uniform? If you are a voter from the Buckeye State, this message is for you.
The Ohio Secretary of State “I Vote in Honor of a Veteran” is a full-featured program that offers Ohio residents a multitude of ways to participate and pay tribute to the veterans who have defended our nation. Participants in the program will receive a pin to wear when they go to vote and are encouraged to wear it every day in a constant tribute to those who defended our nation.
Throughout the years, men and women in our armed forces have made great sacrifices to protect our freedom and democracy. Today, the courageous members of our military branches continue to serve our country so we all can enjoy one of our most sacred rights - the right to vote.
This election season and every election season, make sure you are registered to vote. Have a think about which outstanding veteran will be the one you choose to honor.
Will you honor a current service member deployed overseas, or perhaps a Vietnam veteran who came back with a service-connected disability? Choose your individual, honor them through Ohio’s I Vote in Honor of a Veteran program, and let freedom ring!
